U.S. Justice department wants image sharing sites to save user data.
Now this is a bit impractical. Practical to alley the fears of parents… but wasteful and hypocritical. Wasteful because of the useless time spent to save countless data from image sharing sites. Hypocritical because if we allow children to watched television or even allow the idea of sex sells to continue unabashed.. then what would this do then?
The article is about the U.S. justice department proposing for image sharing sites to have a law to retain user information so that it would be easier to prevent child porn seeking people.
This brings to mind of the various measures that the library does in order of not revealing user information to be revealed when borrowing books.
