About the Author

This is the first wordpress blog I had written and as of now. I have several others. I blogged on LJ, Pita, Xanga under the alias of anime_miz or animemiz variations. Currently on other social networking tools: Facebook, Twitter and other things.

I am an MLS graduate, with a background in Geography and Sociology. I am a bibilophile who tries to not fangirl as much. I am simply floating in books and paper. I happen to like to read a lot of manga. I am a Japanese culture admirer. I am a LGBT supporter. I am pretty nerdy at a lot of stuff, but like to share information as well as improve my writing skills.

My physical goal in life to purchase property and travel. Also trying to keep up with real life, and not over kill my brain with information. Professional goal is to be published in a peer review or in print. Language dream of mine is to be able to  read manga in Japanese. Practicality calls for me try and understand Spanish, but shall see how that goes.

I like to understand and analyze relationships between people, see how everything is connected. My mind goes on a tangent a lot, so I may end up blabbing about a lot of things.

As a hobby blog, I will try to update as much as what sparks my fancy. I usually write Japanese relevant hobby entries. Though because I write for more than one blog, this blog serves as a repository for what I usually feel wouldn’t fly with the other websites. I like to be involved in blog projects.

Many pictures that I take are mostly mine, unless if I link it to another site online. Currently working on improving my photographing skills. Current hobby interests is origami, occasionally watching some anime, and reading manga.

I am a New Yorker, and have been for my entire life.
