12 Days 2009: Day 12 – Happy Holidays!

Happy Holidays!!!!!I hope that everyone is having an interesting holiday. Not much celebrating in my real life, but yeah..since I can’t draw, I was having some searching through deviant art for my favorite Christmas themed One Piece image, and this made the cut, although there was another one, that was great to look at. ^_^

Happy Holidays, and I shall return to thinking consistently on blogs entries to post, and then have it rarely come of any fruit. Shall be working on entries for Kairu’s blog, and more reviews to work on for other blogs.

12 Days 2009: Day 11 – One Piece True Friendship!

I should probably put some other picture from Talk Like Singing or Dir en Grey event, but yeah since I caught up with One Piece, and it is one of my favorite series.. here’s a cap from the 11th opening.

Ahh friendship and nakama!!! I was mostly tearing up or commenting with excitement as I marathon through about 30+ episodes in one night.

12 Days 2009: Day 10- Kimi ni Todake

Ahhh Kimi ni Todake, the breakout series in my opinion of the few anime series that I have been able to keep up with, this past fall. Yes I have my own feelings of being tired by this series, but with the anime series at the current time ending so soon, an exodus for the manga is needed. The English version of th emanga is currently released by Viz Media. Just looking at main characters and their sweet innocence romance is enough to sigh.

12 Days 2009: Day 9 – Del Rey NYAF Pre-party

Okay the cake that was a pile of manga, but was still a part of New York Anime Festival. I bet the attendees would probably still have a good time thinking about what type of advertisements went into this cake, which was cut with a katana. I recall that right across the street there was an event with a female wrestler. Back to the cake, I was really impressed with how it turned out, the taste, from a bite I had was really sweet, but it was a fun event to partake it.

September, I recall starting my photography class, and for that month’s blogging – there was several events, and some movie reviewing.

Okay okay.. I am not sure if I should even be pulling this in the middle of 12 Days.. but yeah as I skimmed through my Google Reader, which I am consistently 1000+ posts in the hole. I kinda want to point out that, as I look at this blog entry. I know that I may have hit the nail the wrong way, and the hammer went sailing elsewhere to hit something else.

But yeah since 12 days is very toward the end, will I talk anime or not… sure… or just some more Japanese culture relevant stuff? Day 9 is coming soon.

12 Days 2009: Days 7-8 – Otakon and SMAP

Gah.. after an interview, and working on other things.. have to remember to do this. T_T

This is actually probably a shove for me to draft and schedule images, but yeah with the holidays coming on really strongly. >_<

July and Augusts were both very busy months  – I did a lot of events.. and actually wrote as much as I can.. >_<

In July,  I was able to be press at Otakon, and took a lot of pictures of MELL’s concert. I was so happy really to see her perform. I think I mentally cried. But yeah.. a lot of pictures afterward, I archived my images here. Isn’t she sweet looking? Such talent really.

I recycled August’s image, because this was how my impression of August is.. Shingo parodying  Ninkyo Helper and Matsuda Samaba, in this July episode of Bistro SMAP. >_< This was a summer return dorama of Kusanagi ..and yes this parody cracks me up.

Also this summer was when I started to think more about Twitter in a more blogging thoughts. I followed Mori‘s examples slightly in one entry to focus on a Japanese earthquake. I actually see a similar example for what is happening for Brittney Murphy’s death coverage. Should I mention that this is the summer of MJ’s death as well?

12 Days 2009: Day 6… Catch up..

Catching up.. definitely not like how this scene is in MW, but yeah.. June was definitely catching up, and recounting my May trip.. and comparing it to this and that. Wasn’t that prolific on blog writing.. but as you can see, still chugging at it. I wonder if I should renew my space upgrade, but since I am consistently thinking about moving to wordpress.org. (sighs)

12 Days 2009: Day 5- Japan! Land of the Rising Sun!

Ahh yes this was the month I went to Japan! Land of the Rising Sun! I still recall this trip with fondness and want to go back asap! But yes.. from the 1000+ pictures I took, most of which are on my Flickr, this is a picture that totally represents the aftermath of my trip. The Japanese mail.. so this is a shot I took really early on in my Tokyo Outings, and yes.. memories. I will be looking into go back.
